Nurturing Strong African Nova Scotian Families Parenting Program

Upcoming Parenting Program for Fathers/Father Figures

The Nurturing Strong African Nova Scotian Families Parenting Program is the
first of its kind developed to support Black / African Nova Scotian parents and/or
caregivers to have a safe space to explore and discuss the cultural, racial, and
historical factors that affect their parenting.

This program is being offered to engage fathers/father figures of all ages, in
supporting them to be involved more than ever before. The impact a strong male
role model makes in a child’s life is powerful, unique, and inspirational.
