Dear families,

We are so excited to welcome our new primaries to Bicentennial school this year! We are pleased to announce that this year the school will be providing school supplies for all primary students. There is no need to purchase anything for the year. Students are only required to bring a backpack, lunch, water and snack for the first day of school.

On the first day of school (Tuesday, September 7th), we ask that you arrive between 8:30 and 8:40am to the playground area. Our elementary teachers will be outside to help direct students to their line ups. They will also direct you to the primary teachers to double check classlists. At 8:45am, with the bell, teachers will be directing the primaries to line up. Give your child a kiss and a hug and wish them a great day! Parents/guardians will not be permitted in the school or classroom. It is best to make the goodbye quick, and we ask that you please don't stand at the classroom windows as it creates quite a distraction for the children. Extra support will be on hand for any students needing more encouragement to enter the building.
